Hot shower in the bathroom. Clean place with comfortable bed. WiFi was OK.

Simple and comfortable room with a nice view on the forest. The lady was very nice and helpful, she even lent us a kettle and an umbrella!

Shrine inn located a little bit out of the city center, and it is amazing, you can also enjoy nice view and quiet place, and also in 10 min you are in the city center with a tuktuk. The family hospitality is super nice, they are kind and generous, and will help you with anything you need:)

Good location, an easy 15 minute walk to Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and City Centre. Bed was comfortable with mosquito net. Bedroom was clean and bathroom was mostly clean (a little mould on the upper wall). Host was friendly and helpful, but a little challenging to communicate.

Quiet neighborhood, you can hear the birds and see monkeys playing in the trees. Clean room, friendly host family and superb value for money!

We loved the friendly and helpful owners. We liked the room and balcony and seeing the monkeys. Amazing breakfast with plenty of tea and coffee . We enjoyed the hot water showers and having a fan and mosquito nets

comfortable, quiet and close to town! the hosts were very nice and helpful :) bed was comfy, shower was hot! we had monkeys say hi on the balcony one morning.

Quiet place. City centre about 15mins to walk. Personal was friendly. You get what you pay for. I recommend this for lowbudget travellers but also to them who are looking place to say near Kandy but needs quiet place.

Great location near temple, lake, town and forest. I rented a car but walked everywhere as so close. Highly recommend forest walk up lane saw lots of monkeys. Breakfast was nice with proper English tea! Shower was amazing, hot and great pressure. Room basic but clean with towels, fan and net. Great view from balcony. No AC but fan did the job. Little sitting area outside room but bit run down. Lady was lovely, always available to call or ring bell. She had tickets for dance show 2 minutes down the road at 5.30pm again highly recommend. She also let me store my car in their porch as no one else was using it :)

Quite and comfortable place with amazing jungle view. Located close to Tooth temple and many restaurants. Also breakfast was yummm! Best pancakes with coconut I have tried so far!
